I was born and raised in Colorado, but have called the beautiful Northwoods my home for the last decade.
I took an interest in photography as a young child, though it had just been a hobby for many years. I love to capture just about everything; waterfalls & wildlife, friends, family and pets. In 2022 I decided I wanted to pursue photography on more of a professional level. I dabbled in different areas trying to find my niche and my passion and while I enjoyed everything I have worked on I was still searching for that one thing that spoke to me.
In January of 2023, my beloved dog and best friend unexpectedly and traumatically passed away. 20 years she was given in this lifetime and it wasn't nearly enough. I had spent countless hours looking at pet loss, pet grief and pet bereavement resources and articles and was blown away by the community I stumbled across, a community of end-of-life pet photographers. As a photographer myself, I was saddened to see that through the multitude of pictures I had of my Lilly girl nothing truly captured the bond that we shared.
Through this personal experience has come a calling to help others capture that special bond between them and their pet, providing a tangible memory they can hold on to and cherish for years to come.
